Because I wasn't loving myself I wasn't treating myself well. I wasn't careful about what I was putting into my body...cos I didn't care. I didn't feel good enough to look after.

I'd also put my life on hold.

I wanted to start my own business - but needed to lose some weight first.

As I said that I suddenly realised what I was doing! 

I was using weight as an excuse.

But not consciously.

Consciously I was desperate to lose weight. Consciously I was so excited about starting my own business.

But UNCONSCIOUSLY, I was scared. Starting my own business would mean taking action. Taking risks. Being seen and probably judged. What if I failed? What if I succeeded?

Could It Be That My Unconscious Was Trying To Protect Me By NOT ALLOWING Me To Lose Weight?

I was stunned. In an effort to keep me "safe", my unconscious mind was busy sabotaging my efforts to lose weight.

How Rude!!

Or was it? Could it in fact be a form of mis-guided self love? What would happen if I got it back on track?

The truth of the matter is, you can diet until the cows come home...but unless you discover the ROOT CAUSE of the weight you're always going to be fighting against your unconscious.

And you're always going to lose.

So stop fighting.
